Hello and welcome to Romney's newest and only guest house.   We are located one block from Main Street and next to the Wilson-Wodrow-Mytinger House, the oldest house in Romney and the oldest public office building in West Virginia.  Library, restaurants, shops,  and courthouse are all within a short walking distance.

Our guest house features 2 bedrooms (one with twin beds and the other with a queen bed), living room, dining room, kitchen, and front porch.  We stock the refrigerator with breakfast items for your convenience and have freshly-baked bread, wine, and cheese waiting for you the day you arrive.

Make the oldest town in West Virginia your destination or stopover!

Whether you are traveling alone, as a couple, or with a family, the guest house gives you room to relax, entertain, and visit with family and friends in Romney.  Leave the car parked and take a stroll down Main Street for business or pleasure.  Or, go farther afield and take in the many scenic drives and locations in our part of the state.  We are within a two-hour or less drive from Blackwater Falls, Dolly Sods, Canaan ValleyC&O Canal bike path, Appalachian Trail, the Great Allegheny Passage rail trail, George Washington National Forest, the Shenandoah Valley, and the DC metro area.

Our own Hampshire County boasts a variety of recreational and cultural opportunities which include riding the Potomac Eagle excursion train, visiting the Civil War Trenches, floating and fishing on the Potomac and Cacapon Rivers, and exploring The Nature Conservancy's Ice Mountain.   Hiking, hunting, and fishing are available in public hunting areas and private hunting retreats.  Or, stay right in town and enjoy weekend concerts at the nearby Bottling Works and Potomac Center and visit the Farmers' Market spring through fall.
