Grand Valley Lions Polar Bear Dip ~ January

A yearly tradition of 30 plus years. In 2024 dippers raised over $5700 through pledges and spectators donated more than 100 pounds of non-perishables to our local food bank.

New Year's Day ~ January 1 ~ Stuckey Park Grand Valley

1 pm sharp ~ registration at noon ~ event is open to anyone

Proceeds are directed to the betterment of the community.

Non perishable food donations accepted for Dufferin Food Share (Grand Valley Food Bank)

Event will be cancelled or postponed by 11 am if Grand River is flowing too fast 

or ice is not thick enough to support  dippers
