Reclaiming Reason

posted Nov 18, 2013, 1:55 PM by Keith Hinkle

Feature: "Reclaiming Reason from Atheism"
How do you love the Lord your God with all your mind...?  A panel of Christians from the US ( Hugh Ross & Ken Samples) and the UK ( John Lennox, Michael Green, and Bonnie Yule Kuehne) give insight into this issue and answer questions from the audience at the 'Unbelievable Conference 2012"

Some of the issues addressed include:
- Should Christians be on the offensive or defensive side of moral and ethical questions presented to us by both individuals OR the government?
- What should the church's approach be to the homosexual community?
- Some people say that matter and energy is 'eternal' and that evoking an 'eternal' God is not necessary.
- How do you debate with someone who says there are so many definitions for God that they don't know what you mean when you say to believe in him?

There is a lot of insight drawn out of this panel that will not tow the standard line of some current Christian thinking. Please bring a friend and join RTB Grand Rapids for an evening of Education, Evangelism and Edification.

Exploring the Origin of the Races

DVD Nov 7th, 2013

Dr. Fazale Rana addresses one of the most frequently asked questions: Where did the various people groups come from? Developments in genetic research provide new insights into racial diversity. Dr. Rana compares this research to the biblical account for the origin of human populations in the early chapters of Genesis. A careful examination of this evidence reveals an intriguing harmony between science and Scripture.

"PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS" a DVD presentation by Fuz Rana

posted Feb 2, 2013, 5:23 PM by Keith Hinkle

when: TUESDAY, FEB 5, 7PM

where: SUNSHINE COMMUNITY CHURCH (renaissance room)
            3300 East Beltline Avenue Northeast
Grand Rapids Charter Township, MI 49525

feature: "PERFECT IMPERFECTIONS" a DVD presentation by Fuz Rana

Dr. Rana addresses what many people consider to be one of the most
difficult challenges to belief in the biblical Creator - imperfections
in nature. Many see these so-called bad designs as compelling reasons
to believe that life must be the result of unguided evolutionary
processes. Yet a closer examination of this evidence reveals the hand
of the divine Designer.

Recorded at the What Darwin Didn't Know conference in Washington DC

The mission of Reasons To Believe is to show that science and faith
are, and always will be, allies, not enemies.  Our goal is to bring
this life-changing truth to both skeptics and believers alike.

Please come join us for an evening of education, edification, and evangelism.
