 Grace-filled Music
Music is an important part of our worship experience at Grace Lutheran. We are blessed to have a myriad of talents that include a growing choir, trained piano, organ, and instrumental music, along with special music pieces from the larger community. We are a liturgical church, however, ritual does not hinder us from providing innovation with the worship experience, such as jazz bands &liturgical dance groups to name a few.
                                            Our Choir!

and the band plays on!

 Cradle Roll
The "awkward age" in the life of the church are those years between Holy Baptism and the beginning of Sunday School. Parents, try to fulfill their parental responsibilities and take seriously those baptismal promises and bring their new son or daughter to church, At Grace, we have also pledged to keep that son or daughter in front of the congregation in those early years by developing a "Cradle Roll," where at least once a year we recognize those young people and their "baby steps" of faith. For more information about the Cradle Roll, please contact the church office.

Sunday School

Sunday School is open to children from Preschool though fifth grade. Grace Lutheran uses a lectionary-based curriculum, Whirl, for its Sunday School program, which means that the readings during worship provide the basis for the Sunday School lesson. Classes begin at 10:00 a.m. and conclude each Sunday with the pastor leading the children into church to begin worship. We welcome and encourage new registrations throughout the year. Please contact the church office for more information.

Reformation Roots

Nearly 500 years ago in 1517, there was a great deal of turmoil and conflict. On October 31, Martin Luther posted his "95 Theses" on the door of the Wittenberg Castle Church. This was the beginning of the Protestant Reformation. Reformation Roots is an oral history and narrative of events that occurred during this turbulent period.

The Bethel Series

This 20-lesson study of the Old Testament was completed just before Christmas, 2014, and the New Testament study was completed in the fall of 2015. The Bethel Series is an overview of both the Old and New Testaments of the Holy Scriptures. The study has been used in 47 denominations throughout the world. The Bethel Series has been around for more than fifty years, and this study continues to build a strong foundation of biblical knowledge and understanding. Its mission is to lead members of the local church or parish into a disciplined study of Scripture in such a way that they encounter the living Christ. What are 40 kids going to do for four days in a church? Why, they attended Camp Discovery and did they discover! There were art projects, scientific experiments, music, and stories, all built around the theme of camping. It was a week of exploring the Bible in a camp-like atmosphere! We studied the lives of King David, Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, Bartimaeus, and Saul who changed his name to Paul. There was great food, great fun and great fellowship. There was even a campfire and 'smores!

Anyone who was there would agree--Camp Discovery was tree-mendous!
