Grace Episcopal Church Georgetown, Colorado

Grace Episcopal Church, Georgetown, CO

Organized 1867. Constructed 1869-1870

Grace Church, Georgetown welcomes all to her doors for worship. As a congregation we strive for unity with God, fellowship with our neighbors, service to our community, and preservation of our historic church. Our Sunday services are at 10:00 a.m. Sunday services are staffed by a dedicated group of supply priests who travel to Georgetown regardless of the weather. ( At 8,500 feet elevation, we watched the snow fall as we prayed for 'seasonable weather' on Sunday, June 13.)

We use the 1979 Book of Common Prayer, the Revised Common Lectionary, and the 1982 Hymnal.

We invite all to stay following the service for refreshments and fellowship in Grace Hall (right).

Our church is also open daily from approximately 9 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. We welcome visitors and invite you to spend a few moments in meditation. If you have questions, please contact us at GraceChurchGeorgetown@gmail.com.

Welcome

In 1999 a foundation purchased the Snetzer building adjacent to the church. Interior rehabilitation gave us Grace Hall. Exterior restoration brought back the front facade, exposing over the door the original 19th century sign for Jos. Snetzer, a Grace member.
