Welcome to Grace Community Baptist Church in Manila, Utah! We praise the Lord for all that He has provided and all that He is doing in our small community! We are a warm, and loving congregation and we invite you to come and worship God with us. Our primary focus as a church is to obey the Great Commission in proclaiming the Gospel and also in the making of Disciples. We are very conservative and love to sing Psalms, Hymns, and Spiritual songs. The Holy Bible is taught and preached, verse by verse so that everyone can understand. We are very careful to make sure that the daily and corporate worship that we offer to God is acceptable unto Him. Thus two of our favorite verses that we live by and worship God by are Romans 12:1,2 and Ephesians 5:10, 11.
Our Worship service time is as follows:
Sunday Morning Bible Study, Prayer, and Sacred Song Service - 10:30 am
Listen to sermons - fggmm.sermonaudio.com
While many churches are putting on their CCM entertainment shows and giving easy believism, felt needs, feel good messages, and many people are wanting to just "play" church while walking on the broad road that leads to destruction, we are different! We preach the unadulterated whole oracles of God's Word including the curse of the law for those who are disobedient in their religions and the blessings of the law for those who obey it in Christ! We call sin, "Sin," and we are NOT looking to fill our building with numbers of professing christians who do not want to really live in humble obedience to God's Word.
Rather, we are asking God for and looking for those specific few who have committed their lives to Christ as a living sacrifice, and who desire to fulfill the great commission, in preaching the Gospel, and making disciples. We study God's Word each and every day in our individual homes and then we come together and study the same passages together. Wow, that is a Biblical, life changing, amazing concept! It does two things.
First, it is part of the making of disciples and studying to show ourselves approved unto God and in doing so, it causes spiritual growth. Secondly then it brings glory and honor to God through godly living, in obeying His Holy Word each and every day. So while we welcome each and every visitor, we are specifically asking God to build His church and bring those particular people who will submit themselves to Him, and we are specifically looking for those few people who will actually obey God's commandments, and not just live a professing lifestyle.
Joshua 1:8,9 This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night. That you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you shall make your way prosperous and you will have good success! Have I not commanded you, be strong and of good courage. Do not be afraid nor be dismayed. For the Lord you God is with you wherever you go!
To God be the Glory, Great things He has done!
