The GPPBG Annual Dinner Report

The GPPBG held a very successful and enjoyable dinner and debate on Friday 24 February 2017 at the Bell Inn, Stilton, Cambridgeshire.

The topic this year was The Impact of Brexit on Greater Peterborough and Cambridgeshire and the keynote speech was given by Stewart Jackson MP, Parliamentary Private Secretary to David Davis, the Secretary of State for Exiting the European Union. Being MP for Peterborough, Stewart is very aware of local as well as national issues which may be impacted by Brexit, and provided a clear and comprehensive briefing on the Brexit process and the potential impact on the UK and our area.

This was followed by a robust and wide ranging discussion on the issues with positive and helpful responses from Stewart Jackson MP.
