I am in my eighteenth year as a K-12 educator; for nearly six years, I have been lucky to be a school library media specialist. I am currently the lead school library media specialist at "The Unquiet Library", the school library media center I opened in 2006 at Creekview High School in Canton, Georgia. I am a proud graduate of the University of Georgia: M.Ed. in English Education (2003) and Ed.S. in Instructional Technology/School Library Media (2005). My research interests include participatory librarianship, social scholarship, connectivism, social media, application of web 2.0 tools to library instruction and programming.
