Abel's Map

While showing most of the services offered by Google, we noticed quite of an interest on Google Maps.
One of the particpants, Abel, decided to create a touristic map of Ouahigouya.
At first it seemed a very conventional service, but later an innovative aspect emerged.
On the map he marked the interesting places, and enriched the short description with an image. Then he added the cellphone number of a person that can guide you in the place.
In fact he explained many sites are not interesting if you aren't given of all the information. And to gather those information there is no other way than contacting some local people who knows facts and myths.

The guided tour can be given remotely via phone or in person if the guide is available to join the visitors.
Abel is now collecting the contacts of possible guides and marking the places on the google map which then can be embedded in any site.
