On “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday, September 13, we will be preparing meal kits for the families of the Giving Tree.

Please consider donating the items below to help feed families in our community with a yummy, ready-to-make Tex-Mex soup.

  • 15.5 oz cans of fire-roasted diced tomatoes

  • 15.5 oz cans of pinto bean

  • 15 oz cans of black beans

  • 15 oz cans of whole kernel sweet corn

  • 10 oz cans of diced tomatoes with green chiles,

  • 1 oz packages of taco seasoning mix

On “God’s Work, Our Hands” Sunday, September 13, we will be preparing Lutheran World Relief personal care kits. Please consider donating the items below to help care for families in the US and around the world after they are forced to flee from their homes during natural disasters or political unrest.

Personal Care Kits

Include the following in each personal care kit.

  • One light-weight bath-size towel (between 20"x40" & 52"x27"), dark color recommended.

  • Two bath size bars (4 to 5 oz.) of soap, any brand, in original wrapping.

  • One adult-size toothbrush in its original packaging.

  • One sturdy comb, remove packaging.

  • One metal nail-clippers (attached file optional), remove packaging.

  • Wrap all the items in the towel and tie securely with ribbons or yarn.
