Aftercare

Sydney Young

Miss Sydney is dual enrolled in high school and Gulf Coast State College. She is seeking a General AA degree and a certificate degree as a crime scene technician. Miss Sydney has been working at GSLELC since the spring of 2015 as an after care aide and has also substituted as a classroom aide. In after care, Miss Sydney's goal is to provide a fun learning experience for the children, hoping to get them more excited about learning, particularly science. Miss Sydney has been a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church for ten years.

Our After Care program hours are 11:30 to 5:30 PM. During this time, children will have the opportunity to rest, have a snack, further their education, and freely play both inside and outside under careful supervision. You may pick your child up from school at any time during our After Care hours.

Monday through Thursday, the children participate in a science experiment or project. Every day, there is an additional project and opportunity for the children to learn more about the world around them. View the weekly schedule below to discover the subjects they will be learning should your children stay for aftercare!
