What you can expect:
Once you join/renew your annual membership you will be connected with the GMC and can expect:
1) to receive the monthly e-Newsletter and email notices;
2) a standing invitation to our meetings held every second Wednesday of the month in the cafeteria;
3) many opportunities to help with activities which support our sons and the Gonzaga community;
4) the support and friendship of other Gonzaga Moms who will also share information, and sage advice;
5) the appreciation of both our wonderful sons and the entire Gonzaga community.

Brief Description of Events and Activities for Members
Welcome Back Faculty and Staff Luncheon (8/19/13)
Help set up, decorate, serve and clean up at a luncheon for Gonzaga faculty and staff members.
New Families Welcome Picnic (8/20/13)
Help set up and serve refreshments for incoming freshmen and transfer parents and students.
Mass of Thanksgiving (11/17/13)
Help set up and clean up the reception that follows Mass.
Adopt a Family (Nov-Dec 2013)
Shop for and wrap gifts for a needy family using a family wish list provided by Campus Ministry and Sister Seton; can be done with other Gonzaga moms, neighbors, or sports groups/clubs; contribute gift cards to the poor and homebound.
Christmas Gala 12/7/13 (Summer, Fall 2013)
Solicit donations, sell ads for program, make decorations, address invitations, help to set up 12/6/13 or work at Gala as a check-in or bid entry person, cashier or spotter. For Christmas Gala, please also visit www.gonzagagala.org/vounteer.html
Mother/Son Celebration (3/9/14)
Help plan this special event and/or set up and decorate on Saturday 3/8/14 for the Mother-Son brunch which follows Mass.
International Food Fair (4/10/14)
Send in food donation and/or help organize, re-heat, sell and serve food during this fundraiser for Gonzaga's Foreign Language Department.
Summer Send Off Faculty and Staff Luncheon (5/28/14)
Help set up, decorate, serve and clean up at a luncheon for Gonzaga faculty and staff.
Baccalaureate Reception (5/31/14)
Help decorate, set up and clean up a beautiful reception for families of graduating seniors after the Baccalaureate Mass.
New Mothers Luncheon (6/4/14)
Help decorate, set up, welcome new moms and clean up at the luncheon for incoming moms.
Make a meal for 10 – 12 men between November and April; and/or collect toiletries; and/or provide light refreshments for McKenna Center events, and/or help with McKenna Center Bake Sales (10/30/2013 and 4/30/2014).
Get Acquainted Parties (August, September, October 2013)
Upperclassman parents host a get-together for new Gonzaga parents and/or families.
Freshman Retreat (1/17/14 - 1/19/14)
Donate and/or serve meals throughout the Freshmen Retreat weekend and during student leader training in weeks prior to the retreat; and/or transport freshmen during the afternoon of 1/18/2014.
Mothers Day Flowers (5/8/14)
Send in flowers for residents of Unique/JB Johnson Nursing Home and/or help with delivery of flowers by Gonzaga students.
Help distribute goodies to Gonzaga students who are injured or ill and/or prepare meals for Gonzaga families in crisis or in need of extra support (as needed, all year)
Help photograph Gonzaga Mothers' Club events.
Mentor New Families (Summer, Fall 2014)
Contact new Gonzaga families individually to welcome and support them throughout their first year.

Back to School Night (9/5/13)
Send in sweet or salty snacks for parents.
Junior/Senior College Nights (10/3/13, 10/23/13, 11/7/13, 3/27/14)
Send in sweet or salty snacks or sandwiches for junior & senior parent meetings.
Student Christmas Cards and Treats (12/11/13)
Send in dessert treats and/or Christmas cards for students and/or help to distribute treats and assist students in signing Christmas cards for nursing home residents during school day.
Parent Snacks Prior to Parent/Teacher Conference (10/24/13, 1/16/14, 3/26/14)
Send in sweet or salty snacks for parents attending conferences (three Parent Teacher Conferences during the school year, held in the early evening).
Faculty Dinner before Parent/Teacher Conferences (10/24/13, 1/16/14, 3/26/14)
Help set up, serve and clean up meals for faculty prior to Parent Teacher Conferences (three times during the school year).
Faculty Treats (September-May)
Provide breakfast to our faculty and staff on the first Friday of each month.
GMC Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group (September-May)
A morning prayer and reflection group held on the second Friday or the month for mothers and guardians who desire a better understanding of Ignatian spirituality through books, conversation and prayer.
