Dear Gonzaga Friend,
Many Christians through the world mark the Feast of the Epiphany by exchanging gifts. They recall the three kings and the presents they brought to Christ. Today, we wish to thank you for the generosity and thoughtfulness that make the Gonzaga Adopt a Family program reflective of that spirit.
On behalf of the families who benefited from your generosity this Christmas, we would like to express our sincerest gratitude. 40 families of more than 200 individuals received gifts. Dozens of dolls, racks of bicycles, boxes upon boxes of clothing and toys, and varied furnishings were distributed through our partners at the McKenna Center, the Perry School Clinic, and the Washington Middle School for Girls. Numerous gift cards for groceries, medicine, and still more gifts lifted hearts in the DC area this year.
Your generosity deeply touched us, our partners in service, and more importantly, the lives of these families. In a time clouded by economic hardship, your kindness to those in need shines rays of hope.
May you and your families be blessed with the spirit of this season which is peace, the gladness of this season which is hope, and the heart of this season which is love!
