Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group

IGNATIAN REFLECTION AND PRAYER GROUP

The women of the Ignatian Reflection and Prayer Group are Gonzaga moms who gather monthly to explore Ignatian spirituality,
which is at the heart of our sons’ education, and reflect on how to put it into practice in our lives.

If you desire to grow in your faith by reading and discussing relevant essays and books and to join in prayer for our sons,

the Gonzaga community, and any special intentions, you are warmly invited to join our casual and lighthearted group.

The next prayer group is Friday, March 10 in the JRD -- 8:00 - 9:00 am.

The Ignatian Retreat participants were blessed with great weather and a fantastic group of women.

Martina O'Shea who has been leading the monthly prayer group also led this retreat.

Fr. Gap and Fr. Bill were able to join us Saturday afternoon. They heard confessions and Fr. Gap said Mass for us.

The hospitality, accommodations and food at the Bishop Claggett Center were outstanding.

Thank you to all who participated!

                                                   ·      What is the spirituality that informs your sons’ Jesuit education?
       ·      Do you wonder what A.M.D.G. means?
                                                                ·      Would you like to find a short prayer that can help you find God in your daily life?

Whether your son is a freshman or a senior, you are welcome to join other Gonzaga moms who want to know more about the words, phrases and spirituality that are woven into a Jesuit education.

We will ask you to read brief sections from books written by Jesuits, share your learning with a small group, and be introduced to simple ways of praying, even if you are not familiar with Ignatian forms of prayer.
