My Testimony

I grew up in Aberdeen, South Dakota, USA, went to church until I was 14 yrs. old, but had no real relationship with the Lord Jesus. I knew about Him but had no desire to OBEY Him.

I joined the U.S. Marine Corps when I was 20 yrs. old and worked as an Avionics technician on
the EA-6B Prowler, a radar-jamming aircraft.

I gave my life to Jesus while attending a church in Memphis, Tennessee in June '84. The preacher as also a former-Marine.

While stationed as a Marine, in Subic Bay, Philippines, in 1986, God began to speak to me about leaving the military and coming back to the Philippines, some day, as a missionary.

So I left the Marines after four years, and joined Youth With A Mission (YWAM), an international movement of Christians from many denominations, united by love and dedicated to presenting Christ personally to this generation.

YWAM is a completely volunteer organization comprised of people from every age serving in both short-term and long-term capacities. All staff and workers are non-salaried.
