The Town Show is a great opportunity for us all to remind ourselves what a great community we a part of. This year the carnival theme celebrates Music, and we look forward to seeing and hearing a spectacular procession through the town. There will be live music from midday displaying the fantastic young talent we have in our town. There will be a Punch & Judy Show in the arena with a magic show to dazzle the younger town members plus a bouncy castle, balloon modelling, free arts and crafts and many other events taking place on the Burys field.

I urge you to come and support the many charities and local organisations' stalls to pick up information and to help them raise funds.

This year the Godalming Town Show will take place on 4th June 2011 and provides and an opportunity for you to take part in this great community event and to showcase your talent and be part of the fun.

There are great opportunities for you to get involved:

Also the traditional floats such as Air Cadets and other clubs are very welcome. Andy (Parade Boy) Ferguson is coordinating this for the round table - contact him at

Arena Acts such as tug of war if you want to flex your muscles, dancing shows military parades exhibitions or something just for fun, give us your ideas. Keith (The Chairman) Bradford is coordinating this for the round table

The Stage, we are looking for Jazz, Steel and Marching bands and also three or four Rock & Pop bands.  So if you can think of any up and coming bands or students that would like the opportunity to play live on stage at the show then send a CD or contact us directly. Darren (The axe) Lucas is the music man coordinating the stage for the round table.
