History

Several years ago, I decided to attempt to create a game, from start to finish, in a single afternoon. I got to work writing code in Dark BASIC Classic, and Twinz was born.

Unfortunately.

The objective of Twinz was to move the player character so that they were standing on the same tile as their Evil Twin. The Evil Twin moved left when the player moved right, moved up when they moved down, etc. Each level was represented by a 10x10 grid of tiles, with possible tiles including floor, walls, spikes and slippery ice.

Recently, I was reminded of this game by a friend who was considering recreating it as an Android phone application. Since I had little else to do at the time, I decided to have a go at re-creating Twinz as a cross-platform program with 3D graphics using MD2 models. So I did.
