SELECTION PROCEDURE OF STAFF |
| An advertisement will be given, for recruting faculty for teaching trainees of Diploma in Elementary Teacher Education/Early Childhood Care and Education. After screening application, suitable candidates will be called for interviews. The constituted selection board will conduct the interviews.
Staff - Terms and Conditions of Service
- The appointment will be made on the basis of recommendations the selection committee constituted.
- All the appointments will be made on full tIme and regular basis except those specified as part time.
- Appointment of Part time instructors and other supporting staff will be made as per norms of NCTE and SCERT.
Academic Staff
- Number (for an intake of 50 each year, total 100 in 2 years) (Principal/Head – 1, Lecturers – 6)
- Appointment of teachers will be such as to ensure the availability of expertise for teaching methodology courses and foundation courses.
- For Teaching subjects such as Physical Education, Art, Work Experience, Music, ICT etc., Part time Instructors will be appointed.
Qualifications & Experience
Principal / Head
- Academic and Professional qualification will be as prescribed for the post of lecturer.
- 5 Years Experience of teaching in an elementary teacher education Institution.
Lecturer
Teaching of Subjects: Hindi, English, Science, Mathematics, Social Science & Foundation Courses
- M.Sc / M.A, M.Ed., 5 Years teaching Experience in recognized Elementary School/Elementary Teacher Education Institution.
- All teachers will be having skills to use computers for Multimedia projection, web surfing, downloading and undergo formal appropriate courses to equip themselves with these competencies and skills.
