Boosterthon Fun Run - OCTOBER 2018

Boosterthon Fun Run - October 17 2018

GMSPA is excited to announce that we are only a few days away from the launch of our biggest fundraiser of the year;

The Boosterthon Fun Run!

The Fun Run itself will happen during school hours on Wed. Oct. 17th. Between now and the run, students are encouraged to ask friends and family to sponsor them on their run! Students will have the opportunity to run, hop, dance, skip and walk up to 35 laps around a 1/16 mile track with their friends, teachers, principals and volunteer parents! Students can also expect custom tee shirts, a DJ, balloons and more!

This is our  major fundraiser of the year, and the students and staff are very excited to have the Boosterthon team on campus the next two weeks as we learn how to be 21st century heroes through the MindSpark Mystery Lab and to help our school.

This year, we are raising $60,000 for our school! So, we need your help...On Friday, each student came home with a pledge book. This book provides the steps for how to log onto funrun.com and register your student.

Be sure to check out the "Student Star Video." This is a fun and easy way to let potential sponsors know that they can support our school - and your child will love being the star in their very own movie.  Again, thank you for your generosity and support!

Fun Run: The students will be participating in the Fun Run next Wednesday, October 17, 2018.  The times for each grade level are listed below.  If the weather is nice outside all of the students will run on the football field.  Parents are invited to attend and cheer on their child during the Fun Run.  Unfortunately, due to space constraints parents will not be permitted to watch the Fun Run if it rains.  We will have to run inside and just do not have enough space.  Let's hope for bright sunny skies and lots of parents!
