Membership in our garden club is open to all regardless of gender, age, race, ethnicity or religious affiliation.

The Great Lakes’ Gardeners club is one of five garden clubs located in Midland, Michigan.  The club was formed in 2007 with fifteen charter members, and currently maintains a membership of approximately fifty members.  Garden club members range from novice gardeners to advanced Master Gardeners.

Our club objectives include:
  • To study and enjoy gardening and design
  • To encourage the promotion of plants best suited to Michigan climate
  • To stimulate interest and provide service in selected civic beautification and therapeutic projects
  • To collaborate with Michigan Garden Clubs, Inc. and the Midland Garden Council on state and local projects and to support the National Garden Club's national and global service projects
