  • Eagles Fly At Les Eisenhart Invitational The GOXC Eagles traveled to Columbus to run in the Les Eisenhart Invitational at Thomas Worthington HS in Columbus. Led by Jacob Murphy Brian Evans the Eagles finished 7th out of 26 competitive teams. The 9/10 Race saw the Eagles (led by Jordan Greynolds) finish 5th and inthe 11/12 Race the Eagles were led by Tyler Pace to a 6th place finish.The Eagles had a total of 33 personal records and were competitive throughout the meet. It was a great day to be a member of the GOXC team.Next the Eagles travel to Jackson to compete in the Federal LeagueChampionships.

  • GOXC Runners Run Hard At Muddy Stark County Championship The GOXC Team competed in the Stark County XC Championshipson Saturday on our home course. In what can only be described as misery the Eagles gutted out a great 4th place finish (3rd in DI).The Eagles were led by Jacob Murphy's top 10 finish as well as Alex Nupp, Brian Evans, Cameron Wydra, Gage Feola, Frankie Janowicz and Jason Nagy. The JV Eagles finished 2nd, led by the strong performances of Matt Elsfelder,Ryan Meister, Paul Murray, Jordan Greynolds, Nathan Devis, Tyler Pace andIsaac Duffie. With the rough course conditions we only had one new PR (Josh Devis),but we had 29 runners run faster than they ran at the Golden Eagle Invitational.The Eagles travel ...

  • GOXC Dominates Malone Invitational On Saturday the Eagles competed in the 47thAnnual Malone Invitational. Led by the amazingperformances of Murphy, Evans, Nupp, C. Wydra,G. Feola, Janowicz and Greynolds the Eagles placedsecond out of 12 teams (finishing behind only State RankedLouisville). The Boys JV Team finished 1st out of 24 teams.The JV Team was led by the strong performances of Nagy, Elsfelder,Murray, Meister, N. Devis, Pace and Lenartowicz. During the day there were 30 runners that ran All-Time Personal Records, 35 runnersran 2015 season Personal Records. The Oakwood MS boys team alsoplaced first to round out an amazing for the GOXC boys programs.Next week the Eagles host the Stark County Championship on the GOHS ...

  • GOXC Places 10th out of 40 at Boardman Invitational The Eagles traveled to Boardman on Saturday torun in the very large and competitive Spartan Invitational.Led by the strong performances of Murphy, Evans, Nupp andC. Wydra the Eagles finished a quality tenth place (made especially impressive by the fact that 40 teams competed in the race).The JV team finished 8th out of 34 teams. The JV Team was ledby Elsfelder, Pace, Rose and Hallas. All in all the Eagles had agood day at Boardman. Next week the Eagles travel to Malone toparticipate in the historic Malone Invitational.

  • GOXC Boys Have Great Day At Walsh Jesuit The GOXC Boys had great performances across the board atthe Walsh Jesuit Invitational. The Varsity Boys led by Jacob Murphyplaced 4th out of 20 teams. The Ninth grade runners led by Ryan Meisterplaced 5th out of 11 teams. The JV Runners led by Frankie Janowiczfinished 2nd out of 14 teams and the Open Runners led by Brian Guptonfinished 1st out of 12 teams. Twenty eight runners ran season personalrecords and twenty runners ran life-time personal records. This was allmore impressive by the muddy course conditions. The Eagles travelto Boardman next Saturday to run in the large Spartan Invitational.Come support the Golden Eagle GOXC Team.

  • GOXC Boys Have Great Day At Hot Marlington The GOXC Boys Team traveled to a very hot MarlingtonInvitational. The Eagles faced off against a strong field of19 teams including Lake, Wooster and Perry. When the lastEagle crossed the finish line it was clear that we had performedmuch better then we had the previous week. The Eagles tied forsecond place with Lake, but lost the tie breaker to finish thirdbehind Wooster and Lake. For the second week in-a-row Jacob Murphy had an outstanding performance as well as Brian Evansand Cameron Wydra. The Eagles travel to Walsh Jesuit next Saturdayto run at the Tomahawk Invitational.   • Eagles Finish 7th In Very Strong Field at GO Invitational The Golden Eagle Cross Country Boys finished 7th in a very strongfield of 26 teams (including 6 Pre-Season State Ranked Teams). TheEagles were led by the Jacob Murphy who finished 14th with a 16:45.Rounding out the top seven varsity were Alex Nupp, Cameron Wydra,Brian Evans, Jason Nagy, Paul Murray and Gage Feola.The JV Team placed 3rd out of 14 teams with a strong performance fromMatt Elsfelder, Nat Devis, Brian Gupton, Connor Lenartowicz, Dylan Colopy,Cole Rose and Isaac Duffie. The JV Eagles were one point away from beating second place Brunswick. Twenty seven runners ran All-Time Personal Records.The Eagles travel to Marlington next Saturday. Come support the Running Eagles.
