Doing Nothing (2010)

One day, my friend asked me,
"What are you doing?"

And before I replied,
I thought,

I'm not exactly moving
I'm never standing still.
I'm not under the weather
I'm not taking those pills.

I'm not yet ready
I haven't prepared my things.
I'm not lying to you
I have nothing to sing.

You wouldn't call me needy
I'm not in a bad way.
I haven't made my bed
I have no plans today.

So I said to my friend,
"Not much -
How about you?"
