Welcome to the homepage for the sixth annual Great Lakes Expo for Experimental and Formal Undergraduate Linguistics (GLEEFUL), brought to you by the q Undergraduate Association for Linguistics at Michigan State (
qUALMS). GLEEFUL 2016 will be held on April 16-17th, 2016 in East Lansing, Michigan. We are pleased to announce that our keynote speaker will be Professor Charles Yang, from the University of Pennsylvania. Please see our Keynote Address page for the abstract for his talk. For abstracts we are looking for high quality, original, undergraduate research in the broad field of linguistics and language sciences. Our FAQ section contains more information on the conference and travel grants, but feel free to contact us with questions!

This year we will also be hosting two workshops! The first will be hosted by Professor Anne-Michelle Tessier from the University of Alberta. The second workshop will be led by Professor Lisa Pearl from the University of California, Irvine.
