The Glass Slipper Project®
Chicago, Illinois (est. 1999)

The Glass Slipper Project ® is an organization that gives away free prom dresses and accessories to high school juniors and seniors in Chicagoland and other surrounding areas. This year, Glass Slipper is partnering with USAgain, a textile recycling company based in West Chicago, to make 2015's giveaways a success for the environment and local girls!  Students do not need to prove any type of financial hardship in order to get a dress from us.
We distribute the dresses at the Glass Slipper "boutiques"each prom season, where each student receives individual assistance from a volunteer "personal shopper" as she shops for the dress of her dreams.

To date, we've helped more than 18,000 young women attend their proms in style!
We are a 100% volunteer based organization that relies on Donations of dresses, shoes, jewelry, make-up and purses as well as monetary donations.
We appreciate all that our volunteers, corporations and sponsors do to make each year successful!
