John Aubry Glass Artist and Jeweller Our studio overlooks the Forest which is a constant inspiration. I started working with glass in 2000 following a course in glass design and techniques at Gloscat.
My style evolves as I explore new ideas, inspirations and techniques. The joy of working with glass is pushing the boundaries of experience. This sometimes leads to disasters but more often I am excited by the magic that takes place within the kiln. My work is tactile, colourful and sometimes quirky. Whilst I prefer kiln work I also design, make and repair stained glass windows both traditional and modern. I have now combined my skills in glass and silver working to make enamel jewellery in a simple modern style. |
