30th July: Frumenty / Holly Jean / Andy Speechley / Resonate Trio
Frumenty are a long-established group combining traditional material with their own songs and tunes. Flute and whistles mix with mandolin, mandola and guitars plus vocal harmonies from four musicians who love to entertain.
Holly Jean is a singer-songwriter from Cambridge.
She played over 80 gigs last year and is constantly looking for new places to perform. She plays pubs, festivals, weddings, private events, clubs, charity events and basically anywhere possible. She writes her own songs, alongside playing covers from the 50s to brand new current hits!
Holly taught herself to play guitar 3 years ago and has loved it ever since. "I love the journey that music takes me on - the people I get to meet and the places I get to travel to, all because of music!"
RESONATE are a Cambridgeshire based live music act that specialise in performing for weddings, parties and any other type of event.
Andy played for many years on the Folk scene with gifted keyboard player Nicky Wright in "Plexus". They sold thousands of albums and featured
at many of the top festivals including Cambridge Folk Festival.
Now solo, he plays great songs from the writing of James Taylor, Neil Young, Van Morrison, John Martin and one or two of his own in a relaxed easy style.
