Sophie Frear is a 16 year old self-taught singer/guitarist/pianist/songwriter. Sophie's been performing at local festivals and events for 4 years singing classic songs from the 60s to present day - her original song "Beautiful Disaster" went viral with over 800,000 views, 21,000 likes on Facebook and 10,000 YouTube views! She has recently been nominated for a YOPEY for her charity work, volunteering and care for vulnerable people around her.
Formed just over a year ago, CarterDolby are an acoustic contemporary folk duo with influences ranging from Richard and Linda Thompson, Joni Mitchell and Americana. Performing a range of original songs and covers they are currently making a splash in the Northamptonshire area playing numerous venues and festivals in the locality.
Meena Lee Trio
The Meena Lee Trio is a well-established band based in Lincolnshire/Cambridgeshire comprising guitar, bass and vocals, playing 'Songs From The Great American Songbook'. Smooth jazz from as early as the 1930s including songs made famous by Ella Fitzgerald, Nat King Cole, Billie Holliday and Julie London, to name but a few.
Peterborough’s energetic female-fronted pop-punk, rock band. In 2013 Skyfight made it to the regional final of MMG Battle of the Bands and was invited to perform on the ‘hi-jack’ tour. In 2014 they released their first EP entitled ‘Into the Future’ (available on iTunes, Amazon and Spotify). The title track from the EP ‘Jumping (Into the Future)’ was nominated as one of the ‘21 songs that you have to hear in 2015’ for the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition. 2016 held a new challenge for the band as they released their new single ‘Poppy’ to commemorate Remembrance Day and the Royal British Legion.
