Welcome

The Gamify it! Hackathon! is a very demanding gathering of programmers, designers and problem solvers who are working on the subject of Gamification for Social Good. Cross-functional teams will act in an exciting community of competing but mutually inspiring teams. The aim is to follow new paths and methods for sustainable change in Africa and develop functional applications. The winning team can present their results to an international audience at the eLearning Africa conference and will be invited to visit Berlin and the Online Educa Conference in December 2015.

The event is organized by the GIZ on behalf of the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development in cooperation with iceaddis as well as the eLearning Africa and takes place in Addis Ababa in May 2015.
