La ligne d’arrivée. The Finish Line. When Académie Lafayette began the $3.5 million Give to Grow Capital Campaign in 2012 the finish line seemed so far away.  Now we are almost here. By fall 2015 the new wing at the Cherry campus won’t just be outlined by students – it will be filled with students! Students at Oak will have reliable heat this year and we are well on our way to providing 21st Century resources for all our students.

Thanks to the tireless efforts of our contributors – parents, grandparents, teachers and the philanthropic community – we have raised $2.5 million.  A $500,000 pledge from the Hall Family Foundation awaits us at the finish line once we raise the last $500,000.

We must raise that last $500,000 by December 31, 2014 if we are to receive this vitally important pledge.

As parents of children at both the Cherry and Oak campuses, we ask you to join us in making a gift to the critically important campaign that will provide:
Six new classrooms at the Cherry campus and a new, secure entry at Oak.
Essential renovations at both campuses including replacing the 80 year old boiler, repairs of the 80 year old windows, and expanded food service options.
21st Century resources for our students including the International Baccalaureate Middle Years Program and enhanced classroom technology.

As you can see, 85% of our donors are from the Académie Lafayette community of parents, grandparents, and staff.
