Brain Computer Interface (BCI)

Brain Computer Interface (BCI) is an communication pathway between human and computer which uses brain waves. Through this technology, people can interact with computer and machine. For example, a patient who can not move his body, may uses a robotic arm to catch a cup. Central module in game may interpret a user’s metal state level such as attention, exciting thereby it makes the game story more interesting for the gamer. On the other hand, this technology can be used for more than one person simultaneously for improving performance or fun.

Our lab. aims to develop better usable BCI systems which can be implemented in real situation. For that purpose we are actively researching these sub-parts.
