author & artist

I've been blessed with a wonderful husband, four daughters, a son, grand children, great grand kids, and many animals who have shared their lives with me. My family, pets and friends are most important in my life.
My husband, Phil, and I owned a lumber yard. Besides working in our business, I was active in my daughters' schools as well as a Brownie, Girl Scout and 4H leader. When my daughters grew up and went out on their own, we sold the lumber yard. I returned to college taking theater and then art, becoming involved in art shows and founding the not-for-profit art association 'Artists Helping Artists'.
I returned to work as a purchasing agent. After we moved to Nevada, I took computer classes and became a computer instructor. I encouraged my students to write and on the way, I started writing speculative fiction, joining my husband, daughter and sister who also write.
A special, heartfelt thanks to those wonderful, caring people who graciously gave their encouragement and praise. You can visit the websites of my family and friends as well as my own on the Links page.

Life is good. I write speculative fiction, create ceramic skulls and jewelry. I'm working harder now than before retirement, maybe that's why life is so good.
