g|day in India
We know that the days get shorter in summer, but come July and we’re making the months longer. Adding a few days to the calendar that I’m super excited about. Starting July, gdays come to India for the very first time. I joined Google in January this year and it’s remarkable to see the quality of people here and the work they’re doing that’s really making a difference. Google technology has always been simple and easy to use and with gdays our endeavour is to make this technology accessible to Business and developer communities. gdays are typically 2 day events, the first specific to Business followed by a day for developers. We’re looking at covering a whole lot of topics and familiarizing the audience with various products and services that will be beneficial to them. For instance as part of our sessions on Business we will be chatting about Adwords, Adsense, Youtube, g+, google apps among others while for developers we will share our thoughts on Android, g+, Google Apps, APIs etc.
We’re looking at including a couple of very interesting Panel Discussions on both days. Special tracks for women entrepreneurs along with interview tips and tricks at Google will be on the agenda and are usually pretty popular at g|days across the world.
g|days will be held across the 5 major cities, starting with Chennai on the 19th and 20th of July followed by Bangalore, Hyderabad, Delhi and Mumbai. The format across cities will more or less be the same except we will have local speakers for the panel discussions.
I’m personally looking forward to interacting with the audience and getting to know their expectations from Google and I’m equally delighted to host a whole bunch of Global Google speakers who are business and product leaders and will be a part of the event, a great opportunity to interact with them.
This is a free event and I
hope to see participation from a lot of businesses and developers. The countdown to gdays in India has begun and
so has the excitement.
