On the upswing for the last hoorah

Those late-ripening varieties in the rows parallel and adjacent to the pasture with the llamas (north of the weather station and solar panels) have made noticeable improvements over the past week, going from about 10% ripe to almost half ripe. Not enough berries to sustain an onslaught of pickers, but given that no one has picked in almost a week, the conditions are probably the best they have been in 2 weeks. I suspect that everything will be ripe and picked out before the end of September.
