Definitely will NOT open earlier than the 13th

Checked the patch tonight and we are still much less than half ripe. The earliest we will open is Saturday, August 13th. That remains our most likely opener. Although we have had a lot of warm weather this past month or so, the conditions during blossoming were cool and wet, which tends to make the "consummation" (so to speak) protracted and the ripening may likewise be protracted I am afraid. Will give another report late on Sunday, Aug. 7.
