1st Day of 2017 Picking Season

I hear it was wet today, our first day of picking for the 2017 season. Almost 400 lbs recorded. Reports are that there are still ripe berries in the back by the composting latrine and I hear the front patch (by the berry building, where people park to pay) was overlooked today. Rather than rely on these tidbits of info, it is best to spend some time walking and finding where the berries are ripe. I hard one couple got 24# this morning, which is pretty good.
