    Announcement from GHS Band Alumni

After last year's successful All-GHS Class Reunion and Pep Rally, members of the Goodlettsville High School Alumni Pep Band have worked to recently establish a Goodlettsville Community Band, knows as the "G'Notes." The "G'Notes" is comprised of core members of the GHS Alumni Pep Band, but are looking to expand participation to anyone interested in playing and participating in the community band. You do not have to be a GHS alumni to play and participate, just a love of playing music and enjoying the camaraderie of fellow band members. The band currently meets to practice on Tuesday evenings and is working to support the community and play at local events and retirement/assisted living facilities. Anyone interested, whether a current or recent band member, or someone looking to get back into playing their instrument from years ago, are welcome to contact Steve Winters, GHS '80, at email: TnFalcon84@aol.com.

Alma Mater

On the city’s southern border,

Reared against the sky,

Proudly stands our Alma Mater

as the years roll by.

"Forward ever" be our watchword,

"Conquer and prevail"

Hail to thee, our Alma Mater,

GHS, all hail!
