Currently, I am a Marie Skłodowska-Curie fellow in the CONFIRM Centre at the University of Limerick, Ireland. Prior to that, I was PostDoc fellow under the supervision of Professor Mauro Conti in the Department of Mathematics, University of Padua, Italy. During my PostDoc tenure, I have successfully finished two projects, one on Content Centric Networking: Security and Privacy project funded by University of Padua, Oct 2017 - Apr 2019, and another project funded by Huawei Technologies Co. Ltd., Singapore, Oct 2018 – Oct 2019. I also worked on the project, LOCARD: Lawful evidence collecting and continuity platform development funded by European Commission under H2020-SU-SEC-2018, 2019-2022. In my MSCA individual fellowship project, I will investigate the security of existing industrial and manufacturing systems, existing vulnerabilities, potential future cyber-attacks, the weaknesses of existing measures, the levels of awareness and preparedness for future security challenges. My research interest is in the areas of security and privacy for mobile and wireless networks. In particular, I am interested in detection, prevention and cure of different DoS style attacks. My research interests are as follows:
Security and Privacy for Smart Grid, V2X, Autonomous Vehicle
Attacks and Security in Internet of Things
Energy Efficient Network Protocols and Algorithm Design
Distributed and networked systems
