Geoffrey Fröberg Morris began doing Swedish genealogical research in the early 1980's as an assistant to his mother (a native of Sweden). At that time she was working as an independent research consultant with accreditation in Swedish research from ICAPGen®. Geoffrey then served a two year mission for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the Stockholm Sweden Mission. Once he returned from Sweden, Geoffrey continued his research activities while studying at the University of Utah. After graduation in 1993 with a B.A.in Philosophy and a minor in Swedish, he focused his research to his own family lines. In 1999 Geoffrey began working on his accreditation in Swedish research with ICAPGen®. He began his full time employment at the Family History Library as a member of the Scandinavian reference team in 2000. Since then his professional development has included a variety of activities.
