Three teachers...
   Six pre-service teachers...
      and three FLIPPED chemistry classrooms!

By “flipping” we mean using technology to make the classroom more student-centered. Secondary teachers interested in flipping a lesson plan or a unit may be discouraged by the time and effort required to implement this new mode of teaching. We have engaged pre-service teachers supported by the Robert M. Noyce Scholarship to aide in the process of “flipping" a science unit.  Teachers and Noyce Scholars documented their concerns, surprises, difficulties, and breakthroughs throughout the process of flipping a chemistry unit. It is our hope that these reflections will be informative to educators considering flipping their classrooms.
