Geraldo Silveira, PhD

Sr. Research Scientist, CTI
Aff. Research Professor, UNICAMP

I obtained the PhD degree in computer vision and robot control in 2008 from the École Nationale Supérieure des Mines de Paris (MINES ParisTech) / INRIA Sophia Antipolis, France.

Currently, I lead the VISIOTEC (Vision-based Estimation and Control) research group of the Division of Robotics and Computer Vision at CTI, Brazil. The CTI is a research center of the Brazilian Ministry of Science, Technology, Innovations and Communication. I am also affiliated to University of Campinas (UNICAMP), Brazil, where our graduate students defend their theses.

Our group focuses on robot vision theory and applications, including visual localization, visual mapping, and visual servoing. More information can be found in the Research tab.
