Reusable Portal/Client Resources

Reusable ResourceTypeDescription
CSW client for ESRI ArcGIS users CSW client this client connects to a variety of CSW implementations (different versions and different application profiles as implemented by various vendors). The CSW extension supports CSW implementations through a set of profile definition files. If you can provide an endpoint that implements the CSW gateway you mention below we'd be happy to verify it using our CSW client. If you don't have access to ArcGIS Dekstop, you can also use the CSW client with ESRI ArcGIS Explorer that is available for download as well at: http://www.esri.com/software/arcgis/explorer/index.html I will add these links to the ESRI GeoPortal that is available at http://198.102.63.45/geoportal
NASA WorldWind JAVA Code  Open source 3D visualization platform 3D geospatial information browser; API-centric architecture; NASA open source software. Demos (including support for CSW discovery) are available at http://worldwind.arc.nasa.gov/java/demos
ArcGIS Explorer 3d viewer Free 3D viewer This is a free downloadable globe viewer (which can incorporate the CSW client for ESRI as a custom task). ArcGIS Explorer supports WMS and KML, and has a free developer kit that can be used to develop custom tasks.
