Saturday, April 30th 6:30-9pm at Flinchum's Phoenix
Flinchum's Phoenix, 650 Phoenix Road, Athens, GA

We would like your help in making our upcoming fundraising event a success! We are in the midst of planning our annual Invasive Species Hog Roast & Art Show set for April 30th, 2016. The highlight of this event is a dinner consisting of local invasive and non-native food items, such as hog and wisteria. Guests will have the opportunity to learn about the dishes they eat and how these species impact our local ecosystems. Our art show will feature "nature" themed works of art by students and local artists.

Funds generated from this event will serve two purposes. A portion of the proceeds will go to our Chapter to support our endeavors in educational outreach and local conservation efforts in Georgia. We will also be donating event proceeds to the UGA Chew Crew, a student-led research initiative to use prescribed goat grazing to remove invasive plants on campus.

Thank you to our 2015 Invasive Species Hog Roast supporters!
We are now seeking sponsors for our Invasive Species Hog Roast that will take place on the evening of April 9th, 2016. Please contact one of our officers if you are interested in making a donation for our big event (See About Us tab). A nature themed art show, a silent auction, and a prize raffle will take place, so please consider providing a gift basket, gift card, cooking supplies, special services, or other items you think can help us raise money for conservation! To show our appreciation, we would like to display your company's name or logo on the back of the event t-shirt and invite you to join us at the Hog Roast.
