The Secrets Of The Alchemists

By George Moore

A story of science, ghosts, and mysticism, set during the time of the Crusades, "The Secrets of the Alchemists" shows the alchemical transformation of two enemies whose ideals overcome the intolerance of the times. A young Christian boy, Tristan, is taken captive by the Muslim forces during the Crusades. His Arab captor, Hazim, wishes to teach the boy the secrets of Arabic science and mysticism that he had wanted to teach his own son, who was recently killed. They encounter an enemy whose twisted plans to use science and magic could devastate both warring cultures. But can Tristan overcome his innate distrust of his Muslim mentor, and if so, can they find and defeat this enemy who always seems to be one jump ahead of them?

Mr. Humphrey's School Of Magic

By George Moore

Elizabeth and Alfred misread an ad in the paper. Believing it to be an ad for summer magic lessons, they are recruited instead into a magical adventure. There is a slim difference between subconscious perception and psychic perception. Likewise, there is a slim difference between psychic projection and magic. In order to bridge these differences, Mr. Humphrey takes the children on a magical journey that you, too, can travel.

Mr. Humphrey's Cookbook

By George Moore

The following recipes are exercises similar to the ones mentioned in the book "Mr. Humphrey's School of Magic", but are described here in the detail you need for learning to do them yourself. Mr. Humphrey liked the convenience of keeping his exercises in a three-ring Cook Book. He liked the lined pages and the division between the ingredients and the steps for cooking. I have asked Mr. Humphrey if I could write up the recipes directly from his recipe book. His recipes are sometimes a little difficult to understand, so I will occasionally be giving a little more instructions or explanations and even a little theory. This way you will know how to make up your own exercises as you learn more. I may have added a few recipes that are not in "Mr. Humphrey's School of Magic", but that is probably because Elizabeth and Alfred actually practiced a lot more exercises than were reported in the story.
