Picnic

Metroparks Geocaching Adventure 2010 Picnic  September 11, 2010  at  Willow Metropark

The Picnic will be held at the Flint Woods Picnic Shelter
The shelter has ample space and nearby parking and restrooms. There is also a playground nearby.
A Metropark Vehicle Entry Permit is required: Annual Permit $25. Senior Permit $15. Daily Permit $5.

10:30  AM - New geocache coordinates distributed
1:00    PM - Pot Luck Lunch
2:00    PM - Awards and Prize Drawing
3:00    PM - End of Event  (CITO)

Geocaches in Willow Metropark

There are 14 regular Geocaches and 2 puzzle caches in Willow Metropark. Click  HERE for a Bookmark Table.  In addition, 11 new caches will be launched the day of the picnic.  There will be a drawing for "First to Find Head Starts" for these new caches.   There will be 4 Kids' Caches nearby the shelter for kids to hunt for (Accompanied by a parent or guardian)

Puzzle Caches  GC1MP8K  and  GC1CDRY
It is a good idea to print the cache pages for the two puzzle caches and bring along. 

Coordinate Downloads
Downloads of the 11 picnic caches and the 16 Willow Metropark caches will be available for many models of GPS receivers.  Bring your USB to GPS cable..

GEO-GAMES
There will be an opportunity to participate in two games between 10:00 AM and 2:00 PM. One game is about 30% skill and 70% luck and the other is about 70% skill and 30 % luck. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
