Jennifer Whiting, aka Genevieve La Rousse, spends most of her time in the viking world doing medieval re-creation in SCA. In the SCA, Baroness Genevieve was inducted into the Order of the Laurel in 1989 in Trimaris for her work in medieval clothing and calligraphy/illumination. She is a third-level Knight in the Adrian Empire in Arts and Ministry. Genevieve has been active in the Arts and Sciences in several medieval groups, and has held the Trimaris A&S minister office in the SCA and various offices in the Adrian Empire.

In the real world, Jennifer works for Florida Virtual School as Director of the Innovative Customer Experience team. This team brings innovative technologies to customers and cares for clients after sales of curriculum outside the state.

Jennifer is widowed from Jeff Whiting, or Sir Geoffrey Maynard, OL, and has one lovely daughter, Whitney Willow.
