I
am a PhD candidate in Economics at the University of Toronto.

My research interests are in development, labour, and cultural economics. In my current research, I study how culture affects entrepreneurship and how women's occupational choices respond to changes in their social and economic environments. I have also done work on the role of natural resources in African development.

I will be joining the International Monetary Fund's Economist Program in September 2018.
