Geneseo's Philosophy Club is a student-run organization that meets once a week Monday 7pm in the Harding Lounge, when classes are in session, to discuss areas of philosophical interest.

Each meeting is run in an "open discussion" style format, with a somewhat-specific discussion topic set for the evening. Some past topics include mental illness, rights, aesthetics, censorship, personal identity, death, and consciousness.
All majors are welcome; no philosophical experience is necessary to contribute to, or appreciate, the discussion. Attending the meetings is recommended if you are interested in minoring or majoring in philosophy, if you want advice from those who have already taken several philosophy courses, or if you simply want to know more about philosophy in general.
