Waukegan Ukulele Quartet
The young girls, from left to right, Marie Opeka, Mildred (Bencina) Novak, Jane Barle and Mayme Grimsic, need no introduction to the Midwest. In fact they are heralded as one of the most popular quartets in Waukegan, Ill. Followers of the KSKJ social affairs in the Midwest know that the Waukegan Ukulele Quartet on a program means an entertaining presentation of Slovenian and popular melodies. Delegates to the KSKJ convention will remember the young ladies as having enhanced the program arranged for the benefit of the visitors. The songsters are all members of St. Ann's Society 127, Waukegan, Ill.
