NWEA MAP Awareness Series – January/February 2011

 

NWEA is pleased to offer a combination of FREE pre-recorded and live online webinars showcasing tools and resources to support the use of MAP.  Each of these web-delivered offerings will cover a different topic of interest for teachers and administrators. 

 

LIVE WEBINARS

Registration is required.  Presented by a member of the NWEA Partner Relations Team

 

Overview for New MAP Coordinators Session Length:  60 minutes

Are you new to the MAP Coordinator position this fall?  This session will familiarize MAP Coordinators with the responsibilities and processes for administering MAP. Topics include an overview of MAP Assessments, MAP license details, available reports, and how to prepare for your testing season.

Intended Audience:  District and building testing coordinators

 

MAP for Primary Grades Session Length:  60 minutes

This session provides an overview of available assessments, how to access Primary Grades Instructional Data and navigating MAP for Primary Grades reports. 

Intended Audience:  MAP Coordinators, School Administrators and Teachers who are unfamiliar with the MAP for Primary Grades assessments.

Reports Basics for the Teacher

This course is designed for teachers. It includes how to access the NWEA Reports Site and the different types of reports available online. The course allows teachers to become self-sufficient in obtaining and utilizing the data on their MAP reports.

Intended Audience:  MAP Coordinators, School Administrators and Teachers

This recorded online session is designed to support staff members in understanding the MAP for Primary Grades reports. The training is designed as a reference guide for MAP for Primary Grades reports and does not need to be viewed sequentially; one may navigate from the introductory slide directly to information about a specific report.

Dynamic Reporting Suite

This recorded session provides an overview of reports available at the classroom, school and district level.  Topics include reports forecasting proficiency levels on the state assessment, student goal setting worksheets, and Lexile booklists.
