I graduated from California Polytechnic University of Pomona with a bachelor's degree in history. I also received my teaching credential from Pomona and I am currently in my sixth year of teaching. I have taught a large variety of social sciences including World History, United States History, AP European History, AP United States History, and AP Government. I spent most of my career at the high school level, but currently I am in my second year at El Rancho Charter School in Anaheim Hills which is a middle school.
Using technology in the classroom is the focal point of my pedagogy. I believe technology can help teach content, but also skills for the future job market. I recently taught an Apple one to one laptop class for AP European History. I wrote a grant to help bring Google Chromebooks to the school I currently work.
